Palanquin Stills

Palanquin Stills is a residential project hosted at The Good Hatchery featuring artists Phoebe Dick, Adrian Duncan, Cleo Fagan, Emma Haugh, Louis Haugh, Aine Ivers, Kevin Kirwan, Kathryn Maguire, Elaine Reynolds, Charles Stewart Liberty and Chanelle Walshe. It aim is to investigate the act of procession and documentary photography within the social and physical landscape surrounding The Good Hatchery in North Offaly.
The Good Hatchery will be hosting a day of event, conversation, music and food to mark the ending of Palanquin Stills. Remote conversations will be held with Latif Yahia (France), a security specialist who formerly worked as Saddam Husseins bodyguard before living in North Offaly for 9 years, and with Luke Sheehan (Lebanon), a writer who has experience investigating and writing about North Offaly. Sett Food Club will be providing food and light refreshments.
