SPRING RESIDENCY CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The Good Hatchery is currently inviting applications for its spring time residency programmes. As part of its ethos, The Good Hatchery will be providing ambitious emerging artists with free accommodation and studio space. Selected artists will be asked to cover their household bills and share in the ongoing upkeep of this artist run space. This will include wood chopping and participation in ongoing maintenance projects. Applicants must be aware that many facilities at the Hatchery are basic and involve elements of sustainable living.
Residencies will be offered of various durations ranging from 2 weeks to 7 weeks and are available to art practioners from all backgrounds. Applicants with manual skills and their own transport are preferred but ultimately applications will be assessed on their artistic merit. Joint applications are also welcome.

- An up to date CV
- A short statement detailing what dates you would like to spend at The Good Hatchery, what you would hope to achieve and whether you can arrange your own transport.
- Four images of recent work (jpeg, tiff, giff attachments no bigger than 150KB each)
- Description of yourself and your practice in the style of a personal ad for a dating agency i.e. 5ft3 head strong female, likes the work of Anish Kapour and seaside derives. (Approx.75words)
All applications must be received before the 20th March 09 if they are to be considered for Springeri 09
